Lancashire FA

Job description

As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to improve participation for our football family we are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring team member to join the Workforce management team within Football Development, focusing on the retention and development of our Referee workforce.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the delivery of our Grassroots Development Plan and The FA National Game Strategy.

This is a full time, permanent role, working 35 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday but also with some evening and weekend commitments where applicable. Although based at Lancashire FA, there will be opportunities to work remotely and flexibly.

Working within a busy, high performing team, excellent communication and organisation is essential, along with a strong understanding of Referee development including the progression pathways at grassroots level.

Next Steps

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is vision-driven and prioritises strong company values, with our positive working culture having just been recognised at the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards with an award for the ‘Best Wellbeing in the Workplace Strategy’.

The closing date for applications is 12th May 2024 and interviews will take place shortly afterwards.

Lancashire FA is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion. Lancashire FA welcomes applications from our under-represented communities to ensure our company is representative of Lancashire's diverse football community. All applications will be anonymised, ahead of being considered on merit for interview short-listing.

To help us with our efforts to understand who is applying for roles at Lancashire FA, from an equality progress perspective, we would be grateful if, when you apply, you would also complete our confidential demographic data information form. This is entirely unrelated to your main application, is anonymous and non-mandatory, and is purely used by Lancashire FA for equality monitoring purposes. We are very grateful for all responses received.
